Lavender Hydrosol is produced during the steam distillation of essential lavender oil. During this process a small amount of lavender essential oil is permanently suspended among the water molecules resulting in a lightly scented "floral water".
Hydrosols offer a soft, muted scent of the plant, but without the intensity of the essential oil.
Ingredients
Our lavender hydrosol mists have only two incredible ingredients: organic lavender and pure mountain spring water.
Benefits
Hydrosols do however retain many of the therapeutic properties of the essential oil. This hydrosol carries its own unique benefits to the skin that can include; nourishment, hydration and rejuvenation, along with being anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.
Suggested Uses
Hydrosols can be used as a face mist to refresh or tone the skin, as a body fragrance, to freshen a room. Spraying your pillows just before bed is one of our favorite ways to drift off into a deep, restorative sleep.
